Need help with Organic Chemistry?
I personally sucked at it when I first tried it. I re-taught myself recently, and Instant Notes in Organic Chemistry is the book I used.
It is, in my opinion, the most straight-forward and easy to understand organic chemistry textbook. And I've seen a lot.
I will not be writing an organic chemistry textbook myself, because this one is already perfect.
When you have to turn molecules around in your head (rotate them, flip them, etc) to figure out the stereochemistry (R or S configuration), your brain can start to hurt.
When I was a kid, I had this game, Block By Block.
It's a set of 7 (or 8?) blocks that you can to assemble into different shapes. It's like Tetris in three dimensions, and I credit this game with helping to improve my spatial sense.
